A vibrant composition where countless fish flow in rhythmic harmony across a striking blue ground. Intricate detailing and repetition create a sense of movement and abundance. In Mithila painting the fish is a symbol of fertility, and the repeated form is one of the tradition’s most recognisable subjects.

About
Crafted under the Madhubani collection, this piece reflects refined Madhubani artistry from Indyra.
Madhubani painting originates in the Mithila region of Bihar, where women artisans have for generations used natural pigments and fine repetitive linework to record folklore, nature, and ceremony directly onto walls and paper.
