Trade & Interior Designers
Indyra works with interior designers, architects, stylists and hospitality projects across the UK, supplying handcrafted wall art from five living Indian craft traditions.
The collections
Every piece is made by hand in India. We work across five distinct crafts, each with its own materials, palette and character:
- Madhubani — fine linework painting from Bihar, in narrow panels and larger framed formats
- Lippan — raised mud-and-mirror relief work from Kutch, in ivory, terracotta and noir grounds
- Mother of Pearl — shell inlay, luminous and tonal
- Glass Inlay — hand-cut glass and mica set into panel grounds
- Zardozi — metallic thread embroidery on velvet, raised and richly textured
Working with us
Because the work is handmade, no two pieces are identical. Grain, mirror placement and thread density vary between examples of the same design, which is part of what makes the work suited to considered interiors rather than volume fit-outs.
- Formats — most pieces sit between 59 x 46 cm and 80 x 59 cm, with circular formats also available
- Finish — supplied framed and ready to hang
- Sourcing — direct from artisan workshops, with no intermediary reselling
Specification and commissions
We can discuss bespoke sizing, colourways and repeat runs for larger schemes. If you are working to a specific palette, drop, or wall dimension, tell us the constraints and we will advise on what the crafts can accommodate.
