To make a made-to-order piece before it is dispatched. An artisan begins it once you order.
In transit once it leaves us, depending on where you are.
Why made-to-order takes longer
Some of our work is finished and on a shelf. Some of it does not exist until you order it.
When you order a made-to-order piece, an artisan starts work on it. Clay relief has to be laid and set. Mirror has to be cut and placed by hand. Thread is worked into velvet one pass at a time. Fourteen days is what that actually takes, and rushing it would show.
We will tell you which kind you are buying before you pay, and we will keep you posted while it is being made.
Tracking
You will get tracking details the moment your order ships, so you can follow it the whole way.
Duties and local taxes
Depending on where you live, import duties may apply on arrival. For many destinations we include these at checkout so there is nothing more to pay. Where we cannot, you will see it clearly before you pay.
Packaging
Glass, mirror and raised relief all need protecting properly. Everything is packed for the journey rather than for the shelf.
Worldwide
We ship internationally. If your country is not offered at checkout, write to us — it is usually solvable.
If your order is late or the tracking stops making sense, please just tell us. We read every message ourselves, and we would far rather hear from you early than have you sit and wonder.
