Most handmade art is sold as one-off pieces, which makes it almost impossible to specify across a property. Our workshops produce to repeat specification. A single design can be delivered as a matched set — forty guest rooms to the same palette and format — or as one commissioned piece for a lobby wall.
We work to your scheme, not against it
This is the part we are strongest at. Send us the room and we will design into it: your palette, your materials, your finishes, the story the property is already telling. We are not selling you a catalogue to hang on a wall — we develop the artwork so it reads as though it was always part of the scheme.
We work directly from a designer's specification, or develop a direction from the brief if the scheme is still open.

Five living traditions
- Madhubani — fine linework painting from Bihar
- Lippan — raised mud-and-mirror relief from Kutch
- Mother of Pearl — shell inlay, luminous and tonal
- Glass Inlay — hand-cut glass and mica set into panel grounds
- Zardozi — metallic thread embroidery on velvet
We advise on which craft suits a given room. Humidity, direct light and cleaning regimes all affect how a surface ages, and the right answer for a spa corridor is not the right answer for a suite.
How it works
- Send us the walls. Photographs and measurements. No site visit needed.
- We propose. A theme, specific artworks, and a quote covering both outright purchase and the monthly plan.
- You approve. Adjust the selection until it is right.
- We make it. Around 30 days in the workshops.
- We install. Our own team, on site, over a day or two.
Two ways to take it on
Both are available on every project. Figures below are illustrative, based on a collection with a £6,000 purchase price.

Across 24 months the plan totals £1,200 more, and that £1,200 covers damage and accidental loss, all maintenance, and a complete change of artwork at month 24. Insuring a £6,000 collection yourself for two years accounts for a good part of the difference before the new artwork is counted at all. Looked at over four years, outright means buying twice — £12,000 against £14,400 on the plan. How each option is treated for accounting and tax depends on your circumstances, so it is worth a word with your accountant.
Lighting and fixtures
A well-made piece hung under flat overhead light loses most of what makes it worth having. Lippan relief and glass inlay both need directional light to show their surface. We routinely specify focus lighting and any hard fixtures the wall needs as part of the proposal, itemised separately on the quote so you can see exactly what the fitting costs.
